Role Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Senior Instructional Designer to design, develop, and deliver engaging, interactive, and visually compelling eLearning solutions. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate, and Elucidat, with strong visual design sensibilities, storytelling skills, and the ability to translate complex concepts into impactful digital learning experiences.

This role requires a blend of instructional strategy, visual design excellence, animation expertise, quality assurance rigor, client engagement, and project management capabilities to ensure high-quality, scalable learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Instructional Design & Development

Design end-to-end eLearning experiences using instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy, etc.)
Develop interactive, scenario-based, and gamified learning modules
Create storyboards, scripts, wireframes, and learning journeys
Build responsive courses using Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate, and Elucidat
Integrate multimedia elements including animations, motion graphics, videos, and simulations
Ensure compliance with SCORM/xAPI/AICC and LMS compatibility standards

Visual & Creative Design

Design visually appealing interfaces with strong typography, layout, and color theory
Develop custom graphics, infographics, and tool-based animations
Apply storytelling techniques to enhance learner engagement
Maintain brand consistency and high creative standards across projects

Quality Assurance & Testing

Conduct comprehensive QA reviews for instructional accuracy, functionality, and user experience
Test courses across devices, browsers, and LMS platforms for compatibility
Perform debugging, issue tracking, and resolution of technical and design defects
Ensure accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability best practices
Implement review checklists and quality benchmarks to maintain consistency
Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with stakeholders and clients
Maintain version control and documentation of revisions

Client & Stakeholder Management

Interact directly with clients to understand requirements and learning objectives
Conduct discovery workshops and solution consultations
Present concepts, prototypes, and final deliverables
Incorporate feedback and manage stakeholder expectations

Project Management

Plan, estimate, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Track timelines, resources, and deliverables
Coordinate with SMEs, developers, voice artists, and media teams
Ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery
Identify risks and implement mitigation plans

Required Skills & Qualifications

6–10 years of hands-on experience in Instructional Design & eLearning development
Expert proficiency in:
- Articulate Storyline 360
- Adobe Captivate
- Elucidat
- VYOND
- Kling
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design frameworks
Proven experience in quality assurance and testing of digital learning products
Excellent visual design and animation skills
Strong English language proficiency (writing, editing, storytelling)
Ability to write engaging scripts, learning narratives, and microcopy
Experience working with LMS, SCORM, xAPI standards
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Experience managing client-facing projects

Preferred / Good to Have

Background in English Literature, Creative Writing, or Communication
PMP or formal Project Management certification
Instructional Design certification (ATD/CPLP/CPTD or equivalent)
Experience in healthcare, pharma, corporate training, or edtech domains
Knowledge of multimedia tools (After Effects, Vyond, Camtasia, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
